Treat yourself by knitting
Our journey into the therapeutic properties of knitting continues. It may seem bizarre, but in reality it is not so, in fact there are other activities, only apparently not demanding, which have therapeutic properties especially for stress, depression and tension. One of these activities consists in keeping an animal, for example a cat, a dog, even a goldfish, as long as we have the possibility of releasing tensions from our body, obviously not by transmitting them to it, but rather by pampering our animal by giving it all our care and our attention: something that is good for both the animal and its owner.
Unfortunately this “therapy” has limits, it does not have the possibility of removing the cause of stress or depression, but only helps to calm tensions and release them in the moment. You remember, in the last post I even talked about the possibility of undoing the constructed links, as a way of removing the difficult moments in which the link was constructed. You don’t necessarily have to destroy the work done to obtain a result, but sometimes, in difficult cases, this can help a lot, and health and peace have a much higher value than a sweater, even if made of fine cashmere.
Knitting has therapeutic properties of great value and effectiveness. Undertaking this work is neither difficult nor expensive, and for this sum of reasons, in case you have tension or depressive tendencies, one of the first remedies to evaluate is therapeutic “knitting”. Needless to say, given the important contents,
this new therapeutic path is trending in various countries. As usual, we are a little behind, but why not follow the good examples? Let’s seriously consider buying needles and some yarn, and starting our knitting as a path to recovery from depressive and anxiety states.
