Ecocashmere is a yarn made by our partner in prato specialized in the recycling of old knitwear and cashmere fibers.

It is a pure cashmere yarn with low environmental impact, entirely made with high quality regenerated cashmere.

We only use leftovers and leftovers from spinning cashmere and old regenerated cashmere sweater that would otherwise end up in a waste dump.

This offers many advantages, of which the main three are:

1- the quality is the same as the yarns made with cashmere staple so as to maintain the softness, softness and the best quality of the yarn itself and of the garments that are made.
2- the price of the yarn drops significantly while maintaining the best characteristics, reducing production costs and the use of raw materials

According to the environmental protection agency, approximately 12.4 million tons of textiles were regenerated in 2013. for example, the average american is estimated to throw 68 kilos of clothes away every year. recycled fashion means reducing the amount of waste associated with protecting the environment and saving co2 and water.

The cashmere fibers, the clothes that are thrown away every year are still usable and in excellent condition. this is the reason why we manually select the best of them and after sorting by quality and colors we recycle them with a special technique.
