Can knitting yarns be processed on the loom?

Carded cashmere and cashmere blend yarns can be worked well in the weft on the loom, but things become a little more complicated in the warp, where the tension is such that many of the carded cashmere yarns, due to their delicate structure, are weak to work with. and they break.

It often depends not only on the type of yarn, but also on the tension and the type of loom.

Many of our customers use worsted warp yarns or thick or double carded yarns to increase strength. In weft, generally all carded yarns work well on any loom.

Below I will show you an example of a work done on the loom with our yarns. The blanket you see below, in a white and light beige herringbone pattern, is even made with our recycled cashmere yarns, both in the weft and warp on a manual loom.
