Refund policy

Defective or non-compliant yarn rarely occurs; we check most yarns with a winding machine. However, when working with stock yarn, this can happen.

It's essential to make a small sample (10x10 cm or 20x20 cm) and wash it before finalizing the project.

The sample is useful for many purposes, including checking for defects.

If the yarn is defective or non-compliant, please contact us immediately for a return.

PLEASE NOTE:

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR COMPLAINTS FOR PROCESSED YARN, EVEN IF DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING. THE SPOOL MUST BE COMPLETE, MISSING ONLY THE YARN REQUIRED TO MAKE THE SAMPLE.

If the yarn is defective or non-compliant, please notify us immediately and we will send a courier at our expense to collect the yarn. Please package it in a small package and write our full address on it, even in pen. As soon as we receive it, we will carry out the necessary checks and issue a refund for the full cost of the yarn as quickly as possible, and in no case later than 15 days.

NB: WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS WITHOUT FIRST NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

ATTENTION: WHEN PROCESSING THE PURCHASED YARN, WE ASK YOU TO CAREFULLY CHECK THE FIRST STITCHES. IN THE EVENT OF ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE YARN, STOP PROCESSING IMMEDIATELY AND NOTIFY OUR TECHNICAL OFFICE. HIRCUS FILATI WILL RECOGNIZE NO MORE THAN 30 GRAMS OF PROCESSED YARN, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES FINISHED AND PACKAGED GARMENTS.

COMPLAINTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON STOCK OR REFURBISHED YARN, UNLESS THE YARN PRESENTS AN OBVIOUS DEFECT (E.G., WEAK YARN DURING PROCESSING).

Natural yarns, especially thick ones, may have knots due to the normal spinning process.
Knots do not constitute a manufacturing defect and are not valid grounds for return or refund, as they are technically unavoidable and easily manageable during knitting.

N.B.: The number of needles indicated in the product description is approximate and depends on the hand, the type of stitch, and the type of garment being made. We recommend making a small swatch, measuring it, counting the stitches, and washing it to see the final result (yield, softness, etc.). This way, you can decide whether to knit the yarn with a lower or higher number of needles (i.e., knit it more loosely or tightly).

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL COMPLAINTS, EXCHANGES, OR RETURNS BE ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE ORDER.

If for any reason you wish to return the yarn (for example, if you don't like it or have changed your mind), you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and will be refunded the price of the yarn, excluding shipping costs. To make things easier for you, we can send our courier to you; the return shipping costs, which amount to €7.50, will be deducted from your refund.
