Return Policy

It is rare for a yarn to be defective or non-compliant, we check most of the yarns with the winding machine. However, when working with stock yarns, it can happen.

It is essential to make a small sample (10x10 cm or 20x20 cm) and wash it before making the final work.

The sample serves many purposes, and it also helps to see if the yarn has any defects.

If the yarn is defective or non-compliant, please contact us immediately for a return.

WARNING:

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR COMPLAINTS FOR WORKED YARNS, EVEN IF DEFECTIVE OR NON-COMPLIANT. THE SKEIN MUST BE WHOLE, MISSING ONLY THE YARN NEEDED TO MAKE THE SAMPLE.

In case of defective or non-compliant yarn, please notify us immediately and we will send our courier at our expense to collect the yarn. Make a small package, write our full address on it, even by hand, and as soon as we receive it, we will carry out the necessary checks and issue a refund for the entire cost of the yarn as soon as possible and in no case later than 15 days.

ATTENTION: AT THE BEGINNING OF PROCESSING THE PURCHASED YARNS, PLEASE CAREFULLY CHECK THE FIRST STITCHES AND, IN CASE OF YARN IRREGULARITIES, IMMEDIATELY STOP PROCESSING, NOTIFYING OUR TECHNICAL OFFICE. HIRCUS FILATI WILL RECOGNIZE NO MORE THAN 30 GRAMS OF WORKED YARN, AND IN NO CASE FINISHED AND PACKAGED GARMENTS.

COMPLAINTS ON STOCK OR RECONDITIONED YARNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED, UNLESS THE YARN HAS AN EVIDENT DEFECT (E.G.: YARN WEAK DURING PROCESSING).

Natural yarns, especially thick ones, may have joining knots due to the normal spinning process.
Knots do not constitute a manufacturing defect and are not a valid reason for return or refund, as they are technically unavoidable and easily manageable during knitting.

N.B.: The needle size indicated in the description of each product is indicative and depends on the knitter's tension, the type of stitch, and the type of garment to be made. Our advice is to always make a small sample, measure it, count the stitches, and wash it to see the final result (yield, softness, etc.). This way, you can decide whether to work the yarn with a smaller or larger needle size (i.e., work it looser or tighter).

IN NO CASE WILL COMPLAINTS, EXCHANGES, OR RETURNS BE ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE ORDER.

If for any reason you want to return the yarn (for example, if you don't like it or have changed your mind), the shipping costs for the return will be at your expense and you will be refunded the amount of the yarn excluding shipping costs. To make it easier for you, we can send our courier, and the return shipping costs, which amount to 7.50 euros, will be deducted from your refund.
