Can knitting yarns be worked on a loom?

Cashmere and cashmere blend carded
yarns can be easily worked as weft on a
loom. It becomes a bit more complicated for warp, where the tension is such that many carded cashmere yarns, due to their delicate structure, are weak to work with and tend to break.
Often, it depends not only on the type of yarn but also on the tension and the type of loom.
Many of our customers use combed yarns for warp or thick carded yarns, or doubled ones to increase strength. Generally, all carded yarns work well as weft on any loom.
Below, I'll show you an example of a loom-worked piece made with our yarns. The blanket you see below, a white and light beige herringbone pattern, is even made with our recycled cashmere yarns, both in weft and warp, on a handloom.
