Beige melange cable-knit sweater

The instructions in parentheses are for size 104, those after the parentheses are for size 116. If there is only one instruction, it applies to all three sizes.
Materials: yarn gr. 500 (550) 600 in beige melange. Needles size 8, short circular needle.
3/3 Rib stitch: *K3, P3*, repeat from * to *.
Stockinette stitch: RS rows K, WS rows P.
English Rib stitch: 1st row: *K1, slip 1 st purlwise with 1 yarn over*, repeat from * to *; 3rd row: *K2tog (1 st and yarn over), P1*, repeat from * to *. Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows.
Cable stitch 1 on 26 sts: work according to diagram.
Cable stitch 2 on 35 sts: work according to diagram.
Gauge: 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette stitch = 11.5 sts and 16.5 rows; 26 sts in cable stitch 2 = 24 cm; 10 cm x 10 cm in English rib stitch = 11 sts and 11 rows.
Back: Cast on 50 (50) 62 sts and work as follows: 1 selvedge st, 11 (14) 17 sts in cable stitch 2 starting from arrow B (C) A, 26 sts in cable stitch 2 starting from arrow D, 1 selvedge st. At 8 (10) 13 cm total height, for sleeves, cast on new sts at sides: once M sts and every 2nd row 2 (3) times 1 st, 2 (2) 3 times 2 sts; 4 times 3 sts and 0 (2) 3 times 2 sts, 4 times 3 sts and 0 (2) times 4 sts. Work increased sts as required by the pattern, working stockinette stitch at the sides. At 27 (32) 37 cm total height, for the neckline, bind off the central 16 (18) 20 sts and finish the two parts separately, binding off from the neckline side on the 2nd row: once 2 sts. At 29 (34) 39 cm total height, bind off remaining sts.
Front: Work as back, but finish with a deeper neckline. At 24 (28) 33 cm total height, for the neckline, bind off the central 6 (8) 10 sts and finish the two parts separately, binding off from the neckline side every 2 rows: once 3 sts, once 2 sts, and twice 1 st. At the same height as the back, bind off the remaining sts.
Finishing: Close the shoulders. Pick up 32 sts from the bottom edge of each sleeve and work 5 cm in 3/3 rib stitch, then bind off the sts. Close the sides and underarms. Pick up 60 (66) 72 sts from the outside of the neckline and work 1 garter stitch row and 3 stockinette stitch rows. Leave sts on hold. Pick up 60 (66) 72 sts from the inside of the neckline and work in the same way. On the next row, always K2tog 1 st from the front needle with 1 st from the back needle. Work 6 cm in 3/3 rib stitch, then bind off the sts. For the fringes, cut yarn strands 12 cm long, always fold 2 strands in half and knot them densely to the bottom edge of the pull.
