I'm a little short on yarn to finish the project!
Lately, I've been receiving too many requests like these, which unfortunately we can't fulfill because the in-stock yarns we have available are in limited quantities and run out quickly.
There are two very simple ways to avoid these unpleasant problems:
1 – If you already have a project in mind when you buy an in-stock yarn, as soon as you receive it, make a swatch immediately and wash it, counting the stitches and measuring it both before and after washing. This way, you can develop the size and immediately understand if the purchased yarn is sufficient for your project. If it's not enough, you still have time to buy more. Don't wait too long, or you risk not finding it again.
2 – If you buy an in-stock yarn simply because you like it, with the intention of working with it later, when you decide to use it, make a swatch and wash it, counting the stitches and measuring it both before and after washing. This way, you'll immediately know if you have enough. If you don't, and the yarn is no longer available, you can still make something different.
It's very unpleasant to find yourself at the end of a project, after spending a lot of time working on it, only to realize you're missing a bit of yarn to finish and you can't find it because it's sold out.
It's unpleasant for you to have to unravel your work after so much effort, and frankly, it's unpleasant and frustrating for us too, as we've run out of yarn and can't physically help you in any way.
I'll never stop repeating it: "ALWAYS MAKE A SWATCH BEFORE STARTING YOUR PROJECT!!!"
