Healing through knitting

Our journey into the therapeutic properties of knitting continues. It might seem bizarre, but it's not; in fact, there are other activities, only seemingly undemanding, that have therapeutic properties, especially for stress, depression, and tension. One of these activities involves owning a pet, such as a cat, a dog, or even a goldfish, provided you can release tensions from your body, obviously not by transmitting them to the animal, but rather by cuddling it and giving it all your care and attention: something that benefits both the animal and its owner. Unfortunately, this "therapy" has its limitations; it cannot remove the cause of stress or depression, but only helps to calm tensions and release them in the moment. Do you remember, in the last post I even talked about the possibility of unraveling knitted stitches as a way to undo difficult moments when the knitting was created. It is not always necessary to destroy the work done to achieve a result, but sometimes, in difficult cases, this can help a lot, and health and peace have a much higher value than a knitted item, even if made of precious cashmere. Knitting has therapeutic properties of great value and effectiveness. Taking up this activity is neither difficult nor expensive, and for all these reasons, if one experiences tension or depressive tendencies, one of the first remedies to consider is therapeutic "knitting". Needless to say, given its important content, this new therapeutic approach is trending in various countries. We, as usual, are a bit behind, but why not follow good examples? Let's seriously consider buying needles and some yarn, and start our knitting as a path to recovery from depressive and anxious states. florencecashmereyarn.com
