How to purl with circular needles. Traditional method

In the previous article, I talked about the time you can save by working with the Continental technique (knitting with circular needles). Circular needles will allow you to complete knitting projects more easily and quickly. Follow Learn with Alicja, an expert teacher and knitter, on a journey to discover these techniques, ideal for both beginners and experts.
In this article, you will see how to purl with circular needles.
Do you remember? By knitting a scarf, even a small one, you can save almost 4 hours!!! Don't you believe it?
Yet it's true! Read this post.
However, I understand that not everyone loves the Continental technique, which is why I have included the traditional technique in my video lessons as well.
And I want to remind you of 5 good reasons to use circular needles instead of straight needles:
1. with circular needles, you can create garments of all sizes, from a small scarf to a large cape 🤩
2. circular needles are lighter than straight needles and therefore easier to handle 🤩
3. circular needles are short, take up very little space, so they are easier to carry with you 🤩
4. using circular needles, you can knit anywhere: at home, on the train, in a waiting room… etc. 🤩
5. holding circular needles, your body position will be very comfortable; you can "knit" sitting in an armchair or on the sofa, or even lying in bed, with your back supported and your shoulders relaxed 🤩
And now, let's go!!! 💪💪💪
After the knit stitch with the Continental and Traditional techniques, today you can learn to purl with circular needles 👍👍
That will be more difficult to learn, so I suggest you try the traditional technique first.
In the next post, I will present the Continental technique.
