How to make a Crossover Shrug
MATERIALS: (for size 42)
200 gr. of
yarn, color of your choice, Needles size 4
STITCHES USED:
Stockinette Stitch.
Pattern Stitch (worked over 9 sts. + 8 sts.) work according to chart, bearing in mind that:
| = 1 K st.
_ = 1 P st.
= 1 Ssk (slip 1 st. knitwise without working it, 1 K st., pass the slipped st. over the K st.);
/ = K2tog;
O = 1 YO
Each square on the chart corresponds to 1 st. and 1 row. Purl the stitches on even rows.
After completing the 4 rows of the chart, repeat from the 1st row.
GAUGE
10 x 10 cm worked with
size 4 needles and double-stranded yarn in pattern stitch equals 20 sts. and 22 rows.
INSTRUCTIONS
The strip measures 19 x 166 cm. Cast on 40 sts. with size 4 needles and double-stranded yarn. Work 2 rows in stockinette stitch, then work in pattern stitch, working the first 13 sts. of the chart, then repeat the 9 sts. of the repeat and the last 4 sts. of the chart. At a total height of 166 cm, bind off the sts.
FINISHING
Place the strip on the shoulders, cross it in front, and pass it to the back. Sew the meeting point of the strip ends at the back.
