Washing/Treating Cashmere

It is always essential to make a swatch and wash it before starting the final project. Washing ecocashmere is the same as washing cashmere; follow these steps.

It is advisable, whenever possible and especially for machine-knitted items, to first dry clean the swatch/garment to allow the fibers to stabilize, and then wash the swatch/garment in the washing machine following our advice below.

Washing in the washing machine should only be done the first time. Subsequently, it is strongly recommended to hand wash the garment.

To achieve maximum softness, I recommend dry cleaning the garment first and then washing it according to the advice below. Dry cleaning can be done at any dry cleaner that knows how to clean knitwear.
